Youth Jubilee Rome 2025

SPES NON-CONFUDIT: THE SPIRIT DOES NOT DEAD.
The Jubilee of Youth in Rome, at the heart of the Church, was a great pilgrimage that filled me with love, peace and hope. Cross the door of Jesus, lay our burdens with Him through the four holy gates of Rome, receive the plenary indulgence for a new beginning, meet Christians from all over the world in this city, the heart of our Church, and be able to pray together God, all gathered around our pastor, the Pope. Leo XIV reminded us during the vigil that "friendship in Christ, which is the foundation of faith, is not merely a help among so many others to build the future, it is our polar star", and that "no friendship is true if it is not in Christ", as St Augustine said, and during the closing Mass he reminded us that "we must aim high, holiness, wherever we are. Let us not be content with less." This aspiration for holiness prompts us to constantly conform to the good and friendship of others in Christ. Thank you, Lord, for your call. My wish is to remain one of your friends. All we have to do is put into practice all this experience in our daily life, never forgetting this experience lived with all these young people in Rome as a universal Church, whether it be these new bonds of friendship in Christ or the strengthening of existing links in the parishes (L tree, Christians in Great Schools, Pozo de Jacob @catolicosusera), dioceses (Lyon, Rennes and Madrid) or movements (Emmanuel, Hakuna) that have already helped me to persevere in this pilgrimage, this path of faith on this earth. We're not alone! "Friendship can really change the world!"
